Most underrated RPG is Final Fantasy 5. People who hate the game just because the story was average. I totally hated the job system. |

Not fair... FF5 story wasn't bad! The first world was fast enought to keep you playing, even though it had a very bland story. And the second and third one were great! Tell the truth! You don't like it because of the graphics!
Meh... just joking! ;D
I don't like class systems in tatical rpgs, but in pure rpgs they fit perfectly.
But, FF5 is my favorite rpg if we're talking only about pure rpgs. If we're talking about any game with rpg elements, then my favorite is Fire Emblem 3.

Pure RPG is like, Pen and Paper RPG.
I want to cast Magic Missile~
The reason why I think the job system blows in FF5 is because, most of the FF games have brilliant character designs, where all/most of the characters are unique and have their own special abilities. FF5 doesn't have that at all.
I prefer that kind of a job system on a tactic RPG where there are more characters to choose from, rather than a FF-like RPG, because the number of playable character is very limited.
Also, to me, the story in FF5 is nothing special. Unlike FF6, 4, 9, and... Shadow Hearts.
