Genealogy of the Holy War Translation Progress

I think I made it pretty obvious that I was able to change the text in the game, otherwise I wouldnt have even bothered starting this project.

It would be helpful if I had the old source code from the 25% patch, especially since nearly everything in that translation was pitch-perfect, and there werent so many damn BUGS.

I have nearly no idea how the magic and staff names got so seriously messed up. I'm trying to find the problem, but I'm not a master hacker. As I said, it would be easier if I had a more-fixed source code.

Er...Finm, please forgive me I sound imposing or if I sound like I'm trying to put too much pressure on you, but I have a small question about the translation:

I know you're revising the completed 80% script and removing the bugs and stuff, but are you planning on completing the remaining 20%, like the ending?

If you need support or help don't be afraid to ask... although I doubt I'll be of much help... actually come to think of it, if you do plan to translate the unfinished stuff, I can probably give you a hand since I read a Chinese translation and I should be able to translate it back into English.

Oh yeah the No.1 Bug I think needs fixing is the one where you can't see the ending unless you unpatch the rom....

Most people that I put on the parameter charts in the General Board will be in this game, retaining all of the stats, growth and skills that I put on those charts.

Hmm. As a question about the FE4 trans, you talked about changing names back to the 25% version.

In the case of Sigurd & Eltosian, for instance, this is obvious. But... What about people like Skasaher whos names are better in the 80% version?

Is this going to lead to wars over which versions of names are better? Or are you just going to decide which version to use arbitrarily.

I'm sure that Eaichu makes the good decisions.. He is an expert on FE and I'm sure that he'll choose the right names for the characters!
