Eliwood lasts longer as a good character b4 promotion then roy...but after promotion...omg its like they arnt related....Eliwood is no better promoted then unpromoted i say.also...ya lyn is the best...they dont do her justice with sol katti.

Eliwood is slightly better in Strength, Roy is better in Skill and Luck. Statwise they're about equal overall, except Eliwood is a mounted unit after promotion, personally I prefer Eliwood.

EDIT: I forgot that my calculations for Roy's stats did not take into account his caps. His Skill caps at 25, so it'll only go up to 25 even though the average is actually 27.0.

well mayb its just because SOS is 10x better than durandel...but eliwoods movement isnt really so good for a mounted guy anyway.and the diff in luck is obvious,also roy's stats just seem better at dodging which i find better in alot of fights.

Roy gets a better promotion stat up, just like most units in FE6. Also seeing as how you can buy boots Eliwood's movement shouldn't play a factor. I think they are both good, but when Roy gets the Fuuin no Tsurugi he blows Eliwood away.
