Well, this kinda rip off from that other new class ideas topic, but this one's for FE8. Tell everyone what new class you want in the next FE.

O plz......im tired of this new class thing...ive posted my ideas too many times.........ill posr them here l8r. for now lemme ask u why a Fencer would become a "magemasher"? Hawkeye and Raven mash enough mages for me thanks. and Hecotr and Oswin.

What would be the point of a Fencer class? That's pretty much what sword-fighters are.

Hmm, I think it would be cool if Intelligent Systems took notes off of the success of the LOTR films and made different races. So far in Fire Emblem we have had Mamcoots/Dragons, and Humans. Why not have some elves. dwarves, drow, orcs, gnomes, and definitely hobbits!
*Imagines a hobbit theif with like a 99% avoid rate.
Yes Fire Emblem should try it's hands at new races!

six words: No FE to FFTA or LOTR. FE isn't like that...well, at least I don't want something like that. We'll leave that to FFT.

If anything, I'd want to be able to use a Soldier. They're pretty bad enemies in FE7 (20HP, 3 Strength, 1 Speed, everything else 0 for most)...

Snipers should have a Critical bonus, so that some people stop saying "OMG!!! Rath pwns Rebecca b3cau$e he us3s a Sword!!!1shift+1!!!"... It's sad, really. They fail to realize when he has the Sword out, the Mages attack from a distance and pwn him.

Lord > Class that isn't made by gaining a weapon or through an event (Like Prince and Master Lord)

I'd say this on another thread, but I like a:
Bo-user > Bo-master
as a Lord like this with speeder stats, with an original weapon bad versus Axes but Normal versus Lances and Swords......
