Well, isn't the GC still cheaper than its contemporaries, the PS2 and the X-Box?
I think when Arf said the GC was cheap, he meant relatively speaking.

Arf, you have NO IDEA how much prices go up for American systems in foreign countries, ESPECIALLY if they're NSTC models (Europe uses PAL stuff). I've seen FFX for as high as 85 Euros (1 Euro = $1.02 US, at least when I was there) in 2002, and that was the PAL model; I don't even want to think of what an NSTC model would go for.

It's more or less the places you're buying them in. Video games are more of a luxury over there than they are here, so the prices can go up slightly. It's also usually harder to program for PAL, since you have to include a bunch of languages. Also, they don't get too many good games like the US and Japan; their top game last year, I believe, was Tomb Raider.

Fake games are a reality. At least in Brazil. Specially PSX ones.
But I wouldn't trust false GC, DC, PS2 or any catridges...
Because even if I had it, I wouldn't afford the game and a new TV (mine is a so-old Pal-M that it plays NTSC on black-and-white)?
My problem isn't GC. It's money. Leave it.

Data venia, I can find emulators and isos by myself.
I doubt my PC would be able to run a GC game smoothly, even if there was a working emu, though.

There were a SHITLOAD of fakes in UAE, and while that's bad if you don't own a modded PS2, that's awesome if you own a Gameboy Advance. Arf, did you see those "108 in 1" games over there? I managed to get my hands on one of them, and I love it.
