So, I was looking at some Aick artwork, then I noticed something. around his right breast he has that little thing that a FE archers have. That strap thing. I'm almost positive Wolts had it. I think some others did to. Does this mean for the first time our main charecter is primarily an archer? That'd be sweet.

.....didn't he like, totally have a sword?
Maybe he uses bows as a secondary weapon or something(like...uh...warriors and....um....darn, no other calasses have bows as a secondary weapon)
Or maybe not just archers wear it. : O

Blade Lord too has a bow as a secondary weapon.....
I think this breast-protection is not really a sign of his class, it's just an accessory to differentiate his clothes with Roy and Eliwod.....
(also Aik is just a blue-haired version of a 18-years-old Roy)

I dont see a quiver anywhere on him though. It's unlikely he'll be able to use Bows.

Record, we passed from a "what is that breast-protection on Aik" topic to a "excuse me to forget Lyn uses bows" topic after just 3 posts.....  Also, Ly can use a bow after promotion but she hasn't got any breast-protection on her battle sprite as far as I know. So it's a habitual archers protection, but not necessary means the guy who wore this is an archer, and the guy who didn't wear it can't use bows..... Both Lyn and Aick are the perfect exeptions examples.... |

I dont think Sacaeian's, or Lyn wear any breast armor.(mmm Lyn breast...uh armor!)
Does anyone know what Aiik class is? I know from the kana on the picture that he isn't a Lord. If he is just a plain Mercenary then he for sure wont be able to use Bows.

im sure his name will stay Aik.. it sounds ok like that.. and they have an alec already for fe4.. and i dun think they recycle names...

I think his name will change in the american version to: Hi my character is a pretty solid example of how the artists gave up...
He has eilwoods shirt, the archers breastplate, ravens head, and he well, sorry for ranting but I am just not impressed at all with these early screens
