I'm surprised Dian Wei's insides don't come flying out of his mouth after Xu Zhu jumps on him...
Hmm... I wonder who would win in a Sumo Wrestling match between Xu Zhu and Meng Huo...

I don't think Meng Huo is such a massive person in history...

That could be. He wasn't all that big in Kessen...
Then again, Kessen was pretty messed up...

But then, the historical records of Meng Huo are rather little...

Trapezoidal!? Well, maybe... but I always thought they were kind of rhombitious...
Erum, anyway... isn't Zhou Tai cool? When I first saw Lin on FE7 fight, I immediately thought of Zhou Tai. I just love his lv10 weapon too... if you rotate his model on the character select screen, you can hit the stuff in the lower-right corner with his sheath!!

Well...for me, a lot of the DW characters don't resemble that person in my mind. I mean...I know those characters before the game is created, and I have an image of each in my mind, and...only a few of them matches.
But...A Katana? During that early years in China...?
Well, for a game character, he is very cool, indeed. But...I feel sort of weird inside.

Since I didn't read Three Kingdoms until after I played Dynasty Warriors, I have all this horribly inaccurate mental pictures of the characters. I mean, I was reading the book, and every time Guan Yu spoke, I was hearing his game voice. *sweatdrop*

You're both lucky... I can't find ROTK ANYWHERE!! I may have to order it online at this rate...
Whenever I find it and read it, I'll probably invision the characters as they were in Dynasty Warriors. Hopefully I can get their Japanese voices in my head, because I can't stand the English ones at times...

Well, I'm born and raised in Hong Kong, have read the book since Gr. 4, that's why the...mental images I have are soooo...something, in me. Oh yes, I can't stand the English voices in Kessen. For all other games, I play the Japanese version. (Or Chinese, for games on PC.)

Ah... that makes sense. Sadly enough, I live in the U.S. (despite what my profile says). Yes, the evil country that went to war against another evil country.
And are you talking about Kessen I or II or both? I admit the ones in Kessen II were horrendous...

Isn't it possible he attacked a Japanese ship? Or lived in Japan for a time? I've never read the novel, but I think a Lvl. 10 weapon FAQ said that ROTK never said anything about him using Iajutsu. Or something.

Zhou Tai wasn't a pirate...Gan Ning was.
And...the connection between China and Japanese was not developed until 300-400 years later.
Personally I think the Katana is cool, too, for I'm a big fan of Japanese history as well.
Basically I play the game without relating it too much to what I've read... I mean... Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao?

Wait a sec... there's a Kessen 3!? Did I miss something?
Umm, anyway. On the game it says he was a pirate... don't you think it's possible they were BOTH pirates?
Were katanas even invented back then? Argh... so many questions to be answered!!! I'm losing my mind!!
