Pang Tong's just plain strange on DW4... he is pretty funny though. Especially that one cutscene with Zhao Yun...

Pang Tong's Musou attack kicks! It's gotta be one of THE BEST ones in the entire game! People are helplessly juggled within it...
It's even more fun when you max out his Musou bar >=D

I can't believe I actually feel left out in a ROTK discussion. But then again, I really dislike DW games. Dian Wei is a bald guy with twin axes!?!? Xu Chu's a sumo wrestler... well he looks like one. Pang Tong fighting!? Anyone here who plays the actual Romance Of The 3 Kingdoms games? Anyway if you want to read the novel go to www.threekingdoms.com/ It contains the entire thing translated into english. Read it online. I've even made some comments there, see if you can find it. |

Actually I do play alot of other Sangoku games. Let's see...RoTK 3 - 9 (Strat.) by KOEI on PC (On PC, Chinese version. They are a little different than the one on PS2), RoTK 1-3 (RPG) by Soft-world on PC, Dynasty Tactics on PS2, and the list goes on forever. (Mainly the different Chinese version games by KOEI on PC...)
Yes, the whole Wei is pretty disappointing. Xu Chu is mentally challenge or something. Zhang He is...a little too extraordinary. Cao Ren is a midget, Dian Wei is bald...(And it is a disgrace to be bald at that time.) And we see Zhen Ji! BUT WHERE IS CAO PI? OMG HE LETS HIS WIFE FIGHT FOR HIM LOL!!!!11
The whole Wei needs to be redone. I found it...pointless to use Xiahou Yuan and his moves are identical to Huang Zhong.

Ah I see we have a fellow Wei suppoter. BTW is Pang De even IN the damn game? He's such an awesome warrior yet I don't recall him being in the game. Hey kanzakii did you ever play the Romance Of The 3 Kingdoms Legend series? It a series of strategy RPGs staring different people. Like Legend Of Kongming starring Zhuge Liang. Legend Of Heroes starring everyone's favorite sworn brothers. Legend Of Cao Cao, my personal favorite. Those play a lot like FE escpecially Legend Of Cao Cao.

Yup. I've played Cao Cao, Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei (Well the title didn't say it's Liu Bei, but it is certainly based on him. That's the first of the legend series. ) And Zhao Yun's which I have but never played. (Just where did I put it? I bought it last year...)
And all of them are in Chinese...
Pang De is in the game!! A SUB GENERAL LOL!!!1
With Ma Chao, and in that mission where Guan Yu attacks Cao Ren. (and then Lu Meng came...that mission.) Pang De was on-fire, as a sub general.

I haven't played the RotK games, but I do have two copies of the novel sitting above my desk at this very moment. So yes, I am informed, and not just another CLUELESS DW FANGRRL. But just the same, since I played DW first, I do love it even as I know it's not accurate.
However, they need to put Cao Pi in the next game, or I will be angry. I made a character in edit mode and named him Cao Pi, just because I wanted to play as him...can't they give us an actual Cao Pi in the next one?
And TF, if the idea of Pang Tong fighting is crazy, then what do you call the Qiao sisters fighting? I mean...wtf? (For the record: Da Qiao has some cool moves and can be an effective fighter once you build her up, but Xiao Qiao sucks ass and I hate using her.)

IF their husbands are in the game, fine, you're in. BUT WHAT IS CAO PI DOING LETTING HIS WIFE FIGHTNING ALONE????// AND HOW COME IN THE CUT SCENES, ZHEN JI IS ALWAYS WITH CAO REN??? I haven't played the ROTK games... sure, DW is messed up, but I prefer action over strategy...
I first played DW3 without even knowing for a LONG time that it was based on history... I pretty much like it for the gameplay rather than the story...

Of the 4 sons Cao Cao has, only Cao Zhang can fight. He fights quite well too. Cao Pi is only crafty, he's no warrior like his brother. I know the Qiao sisters are in the game which is weird, I was just using Pang Tong as an example. BTW, is Deng Ai in the game? Deng Ai is another excellent yet often ignored character.
Hey Kanzakii, I want to ask you something, you're Chinese right? Do you know if there's a website somewhere that contains the entire radio drama to download? You know, the one where only one guy narrate and act out. I'd love to have the entire thing and burn it into a CD.
