Oh, no, I want Pong for my SHINY NEW PS2! With improved graphics, and more focus on the heartwarming, inspiring story of a young line who was out to hit a little ball and prove himself to the world...

DarkTwilkitri has stated at Winds there is a growing demand for a Seisen no Keifu remake. Chances to remake the game have gotten greater, now that the Famicom and Super Famicom have recently ceased production in Japan and that the ROM has been widely downloaded. The original producer Gunpei Yokoi died in an automobile accident in 1997. Therefore, the remake will have a different producer. The first GameCube Fire Emblem release will evidently be an original one, but the second one should be a remake of an SNES Fire Emblem game. There was a remake of the original Fire Emblem game as well. The Seisen no Keifu remake would have Ys VI style 2.5D graphics and anticompressed artwork images. It would have an updated and orchestrated soundtrack, possibly performed by either New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra or Orchestra Melee, and be arranged by Yuka Tsujiyoko. When the Seisen no Keifu remake gets released, we should purchase it immediately. The GameCube has a sample rate of 48000 hertz (or 48KHz), compared to CD sample rate (44100 hertz).

No offense, but you seem to repeat the same things over and over again in every post...
Anyways, the E-Card version of Pong is sweet! And Dark Twilkitri is right for Metal Gear. That game is so cheesy! Big Boss. I love that name! Pure cheese.^^

I'm going to start using DTIRCSYNTAX so people can't make mistakes about which posts I'm replying to, and when I swap to replying to a different post, etc. ^2 @tedius Listen up kids, because today, it's request time! TEDIUS: KINDLY STOP USING MY NAME IN EVERY SINGLE POST YOU MAKE. Thank you. ^1 AdilinkI haven't actaully played the original Metal Gear, but I remembered some of those quotes from an article somewhere. I have to play it sometime.

No offense, Tedius, but you're stating things like they're facts. Since this is ALL speculation and wishful thinking in the first place (admit it), won't it be better to say "I think the FE4 remake should have Ys VI style graphics..."?
But you know, if they really use Ys VI, they have to juggle the camera around a bit to make it FE. Ys VI's system is made for action RPGs, you know. The camera, the whole viewpoint schmuck....is better suited to one man solos than frigging units. I have no idea about how to make different graphics for FE, though...

Further into graphical enhancements, the screen may be wider than on the SNES on the basis of aspect ratio. The aspect ratios do not match between the GameCube and SNES. The GameCube's resolution (640x480) has a wider aspect ratio than the SNES's resolution (256x224), which 4:3 versus 8:7 (or 28:21 versus 24:21). The graphics would be anticompressed and retouched to be on par with the GameCube's normal resolution 640x480. The sprites would be more detailed as well. The title logo on the title screen would look as on the original box art. Progressive scan compatibility is optional, making the game to have HDTV resolution of 1024x768. The map of Jugdral would be more detailed, and the player would also the map be used throughout the chapter.
The audio would have an orchestrated soundtrack as in Super Smash Bros. Melee, being conducted by Yuka Tsujiyoko. The orchestrated soundtrack would be released before the game, and I would suggest that you go to GameMusic.com or AnimeNation.com to import the CD. The CD would be entitled something like "Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu RST (Remastered Soundtrack)." There will be additional sound channels, in order to utilize the GameCube's sound channel capability. The sample rate would be upgraded from 32 kilohertz to 48 kilohertz. A post-release live concert may be held. The drawback is that Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu has the biggest soundtrack of any Fire Emblem game.
Besides graphical and audio enhancements, there should also be some extras, such as some of the option features of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, Fire Emblem: Trading Card Game, and a tutorial. As for voice acting, I am not sure about that. Motion capture effects would be done at least. There should be some cutscenes when a chapter begins, when a conversation is being carried on, and when a chapter begins. There would be a long cutscene for the intermission and for the ending. The window color change feature, devised by Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, would be incorporated into Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu.

Who bumped this Tedious tedius topic? Anyway I liked Iris pong post. Sometimes the best way to put a point across is to mock the point by putting an axampole in. The pong example may well be flawed (pong HAS been remade umerous time etc) but it still puts its point across. Thank goodness Tedius has shut up, he must have repeated himself 18 times about how wonderful this imaginary ramake that Nintendo "so" want to make (they want to make money not remakes).
