The End, I've played and won 4, 5, 6 and 7, so I'm by no means new to the series. Unfortunately 3 was just a little too antiquated for my tastes, especially so without a decent translation patch. Simply because I have a relatively low post count does not mean I don't understand or have an appreciation for the series.
There wasn't so much a war in FE4, merely the Grandbell Imperials beating the living crap out of every country, one after the other until a bunch of pre-pubescents took the battle to them. What I see happening in FE8 is numerous countries in a state of warfare simultaneously. An example of this would be if all the states of Lycia declared war on eachother; the potential for carnage and suffering is immense, as is the potential to make a deep and involving story.
Rather than a polite "Excuse me Silesia, could you wait your turn to be conquered while we go and annihilate Isaac", it will be utterly hectic in both the fields of war and politics, or at least that is what I am predicting based off the early information we've been given.

I liked the graphics, that was directed at the complainers. My post was talking about the fact that you posted almost the same thing about the graphics complainers, and the beast people complainers. I was just telling you that they are in completely different situations.

Not if they stick with the Crystania-setting.... So they will be off fighting GODS... not just their puny Kindsmen... But fighing Gods seem a little to much for the somewhat-"realistic" FE-setting... (at least in my opinion) Well... Medeus(FE1/3) was a god, and was defeated twice in five years. So, it wouldn't be too unfireemblish to fight against gods...

Thou shalt not say that anything has greater magnitude than Seisen no Keifu~ In terms of how I see the story developing, I can imagine a war of a greater magnitude than any previous Fire Emblem, as it seems every nation on the continent will be getting into the action. You see, I believe that, when every country is attacked... ...they are 'into the' action, if you understand "into the" as "amidst". After all, they're passive beings of such action. Be it gramatically right or not, I understood it that way.

Graphisms don't make an entire game, the most important is the gameplay, or if it's so important, don't play to a GBA game and go buy "FF the movie" If they go into a changing spree, there will be a day when we'll ask: "why is this still called Fire Emblem?" And why Majora Mask and Link's awakening are still called "Zelda" ? Don't care about it.... *runs away*

There were support convos way back in FE4, due to the romance system where you got to use the kids of whatever relationships you formed eventually.... at least i think you could... I'm not that far in the game yet, only chapter 3 or so.
Edit: Ignore this if it's already been mentioned, since i'm answering a question from way back at the end of page one.

Leave him, Iris. That's for a noble cause.
The inflation of his post count.

Gahaha! Post count means nothing! If only everyone understood this, the world would be a happier place. We could all have more meaningful discussions and wander hand-in-hand through pretty fields full of daisies, and sing around the campfire. To be perfectly honest, a high post count usually makes me a little dubious about someone, unless they've either been around for a very long time, or I've seen enough of their posts to know that they really do say meaningful things instead of spamming up every thread in sight.

Rain drops falling on my head...
