Well, part of the stigma from post count comes from the fact that everytime someone with a low post count says something stupid, about 10 people jump on that person saying "You stupid n00b!!!1111111onezeroone!", implying that "new" people don't know Fire Emblem from their local fire department.
On any given board, it seems a person with a higher post count usually gets away with more.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I retract my statemetns against the graphics. I have the admit the graphics look okay. I think by the time the game is finished, it will be presented rather well.

An idiot is an idiot, regardless of postcount, and some of our biggest idiots are in four digits. |

It's because fools think they're on top of the world if they've got the highest post count around. Simple logic for them.
Regardless, I make sure that they're taken care of.. Isn't that right, SM2000?

i have a few post but i know about fe4 and 5... I dont care about the graphics. I am addicted to FFT on the playstaition and the graphics on it are pretty bad... you can't even tell if some of the peaple are male or female when it comes to their faces.... lv. 1 with that much hp though...  |

When this topic was about postcounts it just reminded me of zeldapower.com. I couldn't say or do anything right it would seem because I had low post counts.
E.g. Some Idiotic newb saying they got the triforce in links awakening (20 posts in his topic about this and 25 posts total!) I tell everyone to ignore him as hes just some attention seeking newbie, I get that turned round into an insult.
Pretty much all the Zelda forums about are post prejudice, if I need to feel sick I look. When people learn it is possible to have vaild experiance at other forums therefore post count is meaningless in determing inteligence.
I'm pleased this place is getting some order though the scars of the past reign high.

The games in development meaning the value could change or she could have high HP because she is a Jeigan character. I'm really considering retireing that term soon as its losing all meaning with the growth rates they have these days (Yes, Oyfae and Marcus!).
As for the graphics, I cannot predict the fututre and neither can fellow posters (no offence if you can.). If the currend trend continues I for one would be asking for more. They are bare, they are rushed to meet the mags publication date.
Games usually do improve graphics-wise as development continues. Also looking as IS past with 3D is getting irrelevant as it is a fairly new team emblem that I geuss would be familiar with modern technology such as 3D graphics, bare-basic gfx (aka sell I mean Cell shading)*
Zelda 64 would be a perfect example of how games change through time, thing is that was 3 (maybe 4) years this is less than 1.
Bad graphics never stopped anyone from suceeding and Fire emblem seems to be a cult hit in the US (or a sleepy seller)*2 much like advance wars was. And Nitendo seels halfs as much as there actually being any game inside the package at all!
However its like Paper Mario. A great game at the end of its life. I feel very strongly Fire Emblem will be one of the last first party games much like paper mario was. But not in Europes case thatl'l be the original Animal Crossing (due to an admin error, animal crossing 2 will come out first).

The VERY off topic stuff I wanted to ssay earlier:
*-Cell Shading is a sortcut. If Ike/Aick/Simon(?) looks anime style that means we don't have to individulky render a texture for his various hairs, garments and weapons.
*2- I can't say the same abouit Europe. Il'l to wait 9 months for NOE to cancel the game because there is "too much" Dialogue to translate into Francais, Deutsch, Espaniol and Itallio. Seriously no-word on the game except Q1-2 2004. I'm starting to thinks that going to become canceled soon. Then again Prima have a stratagy guide writen (i'm praying its not a reprint of the Nintendo Power one!) Games descripion is the E3 2003 stuff (Saka rather than Sacrae etc).

Well how about that. A forum where at least some of the members are aware that there is no correlation between post count and knowledge on the subject at hand. Anyway.... I can....  I predict the graphics will improve drastically, making this a good game in every category. |

I'd say about as late as Zelda: Majora's Mask. And don't forget that FE4 and FE5 also came very late. *-Cell Shading is a sortcut. FE's artwork has always been anime-style. Cell shading is the best way of putting that in a game. |
